If you don't believe in miracles, maybe you have                                                     forgotten that you are one.

Also be a miracle to others.  Encourage.

John 6:27
He is to the soul what bread is to the body; nourishes and supports the spiritual life.
He is the Bread of Life.
''Those who come to me will never be hungry, those who believe in me will never be thirsty.''

Just think. You're not here by chance but by His choosing.
His hands have formed (and will still continue forming) you and made the person you are.

When Im weak but He is strong.

John 6:20

With Him, though the night be dark, and the wind high, yet we may comfort ourselves, we will still be at the shore. Because of He who walks on water and says, ''Do not be afraid. It is I!''

For the doors He have closed and the ones He shall open, trust Him. Because while walking on water, he says ''Do not be afraid. It is I!''

You are not alone. You have Him. ''It is I!'' He has kept us assured.

John 5:30

Cavetime with Him takes effort, time and energy.
But it brings us untold peace, strength, courage and hope.
Diligently seek Him.
He knows our heart.
He who has something for each one of us.
He who sends us to do His work, through us in this world.

John 5:29

The resurrection of life refers to that resurrection which leads to life everlasting. And, Life everlasting is the destination of our journey.

Life is a journey.
We may not always end up where we thought we are going.
Just because we do not understand His plans, that doesnt mean that He isnt with us.
Eventually, we will always end up where He wants us to be. That's where we are meant to be; in life.

John 5:17
From the creation till now, He has been working without intermission. For He cannot rest with misery in sight. He has no Sabbath yet still works in grace.

Keep our heads high. God is always working in our lives. For He gives the hardest battles to His strongest soldiers.

John 4:53-54

Honours and titles are no security from sickness and death.
Even the greatest men need Him. Because we cannot live in the poverty of not knowing Him.

My food : That which satisfies the strongest appetite of the soul.
Are we willing? Are we ready?

John 4:24
In spirit and in truth. Bridging the gap between Him and us.

The shortest distance between a problem and a solution, is the distance between your knees and the ground. There is someone above who delights in impossibilities.

John 3:30
Don't fret. Don't worry.
You don't need to tell Him how big your problems are.
Instead, stand; stand in His promises and tell your problems how BIG God is.
He's got the wheels.

Everytime you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing. -Mother Teresa

Do we realize that most smiles are started by another smile? We can break ice with it!

John 3:16

Such is His love for us. Everything was done for us. Everything, by He who creates and provides.

Before the world began,
You were on his mind.
And every tear you cry,
Is precious in his eyes.
Because of his great love,
He gave His only Son.
Everything was done so you would come.

Come to the Father,
though your gift is small.
Broken hearts, broken lives,
He will take them all.
The power of the word,
the power of His blood.
Everything was done so you would come.

Nothing you can do,
Could make Him love you more.
And nothing that you've done,
Could make Him close the door.
Because of His great love,
He gave His only Son.
Everything was done so you would come.

Aren't we so loved by the King?

I am sorry : Three words hard to say; but relieved, happy when said.

How and Why do we forgive?
We forgive to forget or We forget to forgive?

Takes a while for us to realise that the first to forgive is always the strongest and happiest.

Let go, Let God.

John 2:24-25

God knows all men, their nature and dispositions.
We can only see and know what is done by men.  Christ knows what is in them.

''Beware of a dead faith, or a formal profession: carnal, empty professors are not to be trusted, and however men impose on others or themselves, they cannot impose on the heart-searching God.'' Matthew Henry
Heart-searching God! Heart-searching! Heart! ''For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.'' -Luke 12:34

Luke 12:34

For where your treasure is, there your heart

will be also.

Your treasure — your heart; something you value most.

''Suppose; you have a secret box like those used in Eastern Europe and you're given a piece of paper to write down that treasure you want most and keep it in the box, what would you write?
Posessions, People, Values?''

>>Changing water of purification into wine of joy for the marriage-feast at Cana in Galilee is the first out of Christ's seven miraculous signs, as related by John.

John 2:4

Jesus replied, ''Woman, what concern is that to you and me? My hour has not yet come.''

We have to understand that Delays are not Denials of prayer.
Always remember that your present situation is not your final destination.
The best is yet to come, with Him.

John 2:5

However, his mother said to the servants, ''Do whatever He tells you.''

When his disciples only began to know him, someone else already understood and believed in him : Mary his Mother.
Such is the love of a mother for her child. My mother, your mother and our Mother Mary.
No wonder people say, Paradise lies beneath a mother's feet.

John 1:38

''What are you looking for?''

Like seriously, what are we all looking for in life? What is our purpose of life? Have we really thought about that?

Rick Warren in his book, once mentioned, “You were made by God and for God and until you understand that, life will never make sense.”

I'm pretty sure some of us have already experienced some 'roller coaster' rides in life. It may take sometime for us to understand that with Brokenness comes Beauty. This happens when we have learnt to see the Blessings disguised and hidden in our every Burden. When we have come to our senses and see all these, I guess that's when we are able to determine one of our many purposes in life.

And, this is true when we have said 'Yes' to His work through us;
“The only really happy people are those who have learned how to serve.”
― Rick Warren, The Purpose Driven Life: What on Earth Am I Here for?

Those who come to serve the Lord, must come with a fixed resolution to be firm and constant to him, like a stone/rock (Simon: The First Rock of the Church whom Jesus named as Cephas), solid and steadfast; and it is by His grace that they are so.

John 1:23 -

John answered by quoting the prophet, Isaiah,

''I am the voice of someone in the desert:

Make a straight path for the Lord to travel.''

May we too be like John the Baptist, that at that time, did not know who was sent to be the Messiah; yet, he chose to believe, obey and let God has His way/lead.

Nobody understands and can comprehend how God works. His works, we know; are random, mysterious yet they transcend human's logic, plans and actions.

But, one day, at the right moment, we will get to see the bigger picture God is painting; and not just the colours He is using now.
Shouldnt we be excited to see and look forward to that masterpiece He is slowly, patiently crafting for us?

John 1 : 1-18

The Word was with God. All things were made by Him, and not as an instrument.

Our receivings and blessings are all summed up in this one word, GRACE; we have received "even grace," a gift so great, so rich, so invaluable; the good will of God towards us, and the good work of God in us.

Turn back to VS Turn my back against :
I was initially lost; suffering from the 'quarter-century-life-crisis';to the point that I almost gave up but when I made my decision to turn back to instead of turning my back against Him, slowly, I begin to see things in a different perspective, I gain more courage, I got reminded of my old dreams which I have forgotten, I am blessed with more responsibilities, I achieved one of my life's goals, I experience happiness and the sense of accomplishment in a totally different dimension.

The grace (from less to best), He has showered me with, I cant thank Him more.

Pray without ceasing, look for the Light, walk in it.

I'm the Forever-ask-you-to-do Sis for 20 years and counting.
And my brother now replies: And im willing to do everything u asked. haha.

My brother and I are 5 years apart. When we were younger, I wasnt exactly the typical ok-you-can-have-it / self-sacrificing, very nice big sister. I used to give him plasters when he kept complaining to me about mosquito bites. I told him that it's the remedy to get rid of the itch. I bit, fought, pulled my brother's hair, hid his toys and was always full of pranks, nonsense and mischief. But, he wasnt a victim. He did the same too since his sister showed the perfect example of fighting for what's right (in my eyes) and not yielding/succumbing to others.
But, we made up each time we had a battle.
As we grew slightly older, we became more civilised. We had cold war instead. The first to speak is the loser. And, Yours Truly is exceptionally patient in such field and would always emerge winner.
But, oh well, we are each other's only sibling. So, I'd say we have no choice but to love each other instead :) Despite all the World Wars and Cold Wars we both have declared, fought and survived, we are very close to each other. So close that our friends are always left puzzled and envious. Im grateful to have such an understanding and tolerant brother who knows when to feed me, comfort me and pour me a glass of water when I'm thirsty but busy watching TV/playing games. Im just joking okays, Im not that mean. Maybe I was.

What type of older siblings you all have?
