Photo: Teach the kids to realize their blessings too.
When they start counting those blessings already received and are still coming, they will realize that those blessings are ENDLESS and UnCOUNTable!

So, count those blessings, not the problems.

Be grateful for small things, big things, and everything in between.

A panda researchers in China, wear panda costumes to give mother-like feeling to a lonely baby panda who lost her mother.

How nice!!

Moral teachers may want to use this issue/example as ABM for nilai 'kasih sayang' and Bidang 3: Alam Sekitar especially nilai 'peka terhadap isu-isu alam sekitar'.

Wherever there is a human being, there is an opportun
ity for a kindness.

I believe in the power of prayers. It is the best way to draw strength from Heaven.

During my practicum days, when I was asked to teach math in the last class of form4, I admit; it wasn't an easy task for me. Kids were less motivated and they gave up really fast. It was hard to get them to hold a pen! Let alone, expect them to follow the P&P for two periods.

But, God hears our prayers if we pray earnestly. "Ask and you shall receive."

I've got kids from that class, who now tells me they passed they math paper during their recent exams. And, they say that it's the first time they pass too!

I'm ever thankful for this bunch of practicum kids I have met. You all remind me of how loving He is; The Lord who listens to His people who seek His grace and mercy earnestly.

May this kids shine in His light.

May teachers share His love with their kids.
May we play a role to shape them; His people.

>>Did grocery. Saw Chupa Chups and thought of the kids.
I remember when I first taught 1Z- Decimals, most of them couldn't answer the worksheet. But, when I brought Chupa Chups to the next class, everyone amazingly, miraculously, perfectly understood. Such tamchiak kids. Chupa Chups; my miracle candy.

>>One way to learn to practise patience - Spending time with the grandparents.
Nobody can do for little children what grandparents do.
When I was younger, my grandparents always said Yes to the things I wanted and hoped for when my parents said No; secretly.
So many secrets between grandparents and grandchildren!

What can we say from this picture?

Adakah kita mahu menghasilkan pelajar-pelajar sebegitu?

Ok, balik kepada akauntabiliti guru.

We have been kids before.

Let's think about this issue.

One side, we are instilling retaliation and the art of survival in a cruel and heartless world.

Another side, we are trying to build a compassionate and loving society.

How? What can we do?
