Love is far more than just a feeling of warm affection. Love is active. It's meant to be given away to everyone in need. It reaches out to the sick, marginalized and less privileged. It shares the good news of God's grace, peace and mercy. It pours itself out for the sake of other people. Without this active, self-giving love, we will never see this earth becomes ''as it is in Heaven.''

Yes, the poor, oppressed and abandoned regardless of age, race, nationality and background are to be treated with love, respect and justice. No discrimination. They are our responsibility.

This is the reality beyond humanity for eternity. 

For any mission, it is done in His name. Not mine, not yours, not ours, but His.

When He calls us to start the work, just go ahead. Because before the Red Sea would part, we have to first step into the water. Words must go with works. Don't just talk. Instead, 
act. 

Worry not about the progress for He knows and will ensure everything; like always. For this, we shall be His witnesses. And, that's the good news. :)))

I can totally relate to 8-y/o Sharon's sorrow when she lost her grandfather; someone who is so close and dear to her. How much she cries. How sad she is.

It's just that I feel that she is just too young for all this. Too young to be going through this test. Too young to experience this heartbreaking loss of someone so close.

But, He has His ways, His plans which we may never seem to be able to comprehend. Plans as stated in Jeremiah 29:11.

May this child be given wisdom in discerning His will and peace in accepting it.

He is always faithful to answer.
Sometimes, His answer is a much desired "Yes". 
Sometimes, His answer is a merciful "No".
Sometimes, His answer is a faith-building "Not yet".
And, sometimes ... sometimes, when an answer cannot be found, His answer is simply "Trust me".

Remember, we may not have the best things in life but we always, always have the blessed things in life. :)))

For instance, being able to wake up to another new day each morning is a blessing which always goes unnoticed. Often we tend to forget what a privilege it is to be able to yawn, stretch, off the ringing/snoozing alarm clock, whisper the morning prayer and get off bed : that precious gift of life each morning!

No wonder morning prayers are always written in such a way that they are full of thankfulness and hope; an awesome booze to kickstart the day.

Blessings have already started flowing the very moment we are awake each morning. Think of how much we have received throughout the day.

May every sunrise brings us hope and every sunset brings us peace.

We are too blessed to be stressed!
