As I now write articles and compile a journal for my Man of Steel, I realize how important he is to me and how much he means to me.

When we ate, we thought of you. Unconsciously, when we were about to have lunch yesterday, I said "Kongkong chiak."
It has been a habit all these years.

When we watched the daily dramas, we thought of you; us fighting over the channels.

I now take over your place to cook rice.

There's no one who would wake us up from our afternoon nap, if our handphones fail to do so.

There's this sense of emptiness at home.

We still need time to adapt.

You leaving isn't the ending, but the beginning to many more happy stories. Because a happy man like you would want us to sow and reap the fruits of happiness too.

Whisper prayers for us from above ya.

I always love going over to my grandparents whenever I'm on hols.
There's always someone who will be waiting and looking forward to us coming; welcoming with arms wide open, loud voice and a wide smile plastered on his face.
We are so used to call "Kongkong" when we reach the gate.

This morning too. It's been a habit over these years.

All I have now are the memories and a photo of you smiling widely like you always do, placed on the table in the living room.

But, I still have a nenek who's 82 and still very healthy. She's my only grandparent now. We will treasure her like precious gem. What I can't do for and with my Man Of Steel, I shall; for her.

"To Wisma Kahong,
We go," says Kongkong.
Because today,
You're getting your pay.

Tightly held my hand,
We crossed the road.
When you get your pay,
I'll get my share.

Sometimes, candies.
But mostly, ice cream.

You watched me smile and whine
When I first learnt to cycle.
Every afternoon at the playground there,
There's a time, well, I fell into the drain as I cycled.
You picked me up, it's ok, you were always there.

All this happened when I was 5,
Some memories of you and I.
I am now 25,
You; white hair and 84,
It's been oh, very long ago.
To be precise, 20 years ago.

Back when my man of steel,
We believed was wow, so strong.
For this man, with strong will,
It's now my turn to be very strong.

Life is a journey. Colorful, eventful, meaningful and peaceful, but not tearful; this is my only wish for you.

Appreciate the people/things you have before they become who and what you once had.

I want to buy you roasted duck when I get my first pay. I want to see you smile. There are still many things I want to do with you and for you, my Man of Steel.
