After the heavy rain,
Comes the rainbow.

No more pain, no more tears.
During this phase of time,
The child has learnt to grow,
From those struggles, from those fears.
It is now insecurities no more.

It's Goodbye and it is time
When the child; ready and right
To put the past behind.
The future ahead shines so bright,
The journey is still so long.
From the start, she's in His sight.

Why did she even wonder,
''Why's life so wrong?"
She used to grumble, almost stumble.
Now, she knows, finally knows.
She holds His hands, sings a song.

Together; the King with her,
She starts to notice the blessings
Once overlooked.
Security and Confidence tell her,
The past shouldn't be controlling
The Self-esteem in her,
The path she now takes,
The adventures she now seeks,
The future she now anticipates.

Now, she smiles.
Now, she knows.
All this while
and miles,
The love she seeks
She now knows.
That love
Is a gift sent from above.
