John 10:14-15
He knows whom He has chosen, and is sure of them; they also know whom they have trusted, and are sure of Him.
It's like saying
EITHER
>> Lord, I stand behind You because I trust You to lead the way.
OR
>> Lord, I am not afraid to walk because I know You always have my back.
This is grace; for the Savior willingly offered himself for the Sacrifice. He was both the offerer and the offering. Such an inexplicable union of Him and His people.
Notice that God has made life so good that even if we don't get exactly what we want, He makes us realise that what He has given us, is still the best for us.
